Steve, Joanna, Lance, and Alanna

For anyone who was wondering, the above names are the list of preferred names Sophia has chosen for her future progeny. 2 of those names are sourced from Sym-Bionic Titan.

What I have learned

I know she is only 2 days old, but there are some things that have become very clear about Miss Daphne.  So far this is what I have learned: She loves to suck--nursing and pacifier. She is a very relaxed baby, and doesn't seem to want to cry very much.  I can hardly believe how well behaved she is.  I truly hope this keeps up! She is a noise maker.   She will smack, suck, squeak, and eat loudly. She can POOP!  She pooped as soon as she was born, and had 2 big ones in the hospital.  One so big it was leaking everywhere.  Luckily the nursery nurse was in the room and offered to change her, and I LET HER! :) She loves to eat.  They told me in the hospital that newborns have stomachs the size of a marble.  If that is true then Daphne has a birth defect and has one the size of a baseball.  I did both nursing and formula in the hospital and she would finish an entire bottle.  My milk came in the day I checked out of the hospital.  Later this afternoon she nursed AND took (almost) an ent...

Daphne Jane Atchley 8 lbs 12 oz

Daphne Jane Atchley was born on April 12th 2011 at 12:05 PM. She weighed 8 lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long at birth. She is happy, healthy, and ridiculously strong for an infant.
