Too tired to sleep

Unfortunately I seem to be suffering from bouts of insomnia of late. I might as well be productive during these late night sessions of alert incoherent frustration. A couple of days ago I managed to find one of those elusive states of rest while lying on the couch. I remember it fondly as it seems to be a rare occurrence these days. Both my daughters love to wrestle and rough-house. I have no doubt that Daphne will also enjoy a little vigorous play with her father in the coming years. As I lay resting I could hear the creeping and sniggering of my two oldest as they approached and subtly planned my imminent demise. I prepared. For anyone who is not a father of small children, I need to explain the basics of preparation. You either must cover your most vulnerable area or be prepared to instantaneously react to a child's movements in order to protect said area. I was prepared. The language of Phoebe......

Phoebe is 4 years old and somehow still speaks like a toddler with some of her words.  This is what we are entertained by on a daily basis..... gank you = thank you sing = thing booteeful = beautiful fab-lee-ous or fablis = fabulous james = jeans pocksicle = popsicle ridickleous = ridiculous Chick fir lay or Chick a wik = Chik-fil-a Crap n Crunch = Cap'n Crunch (cereal) cumfsy = comfy I hope it improves before she starts school next year.  However, we sure are enjoying it right now!  Nutty kid.....
