Our Persisting Memories

Uh oh, I may have created a monster!  Daphne is very good at copying what ANY of us do.  Sophia, Phoebe, daddy, or myself may be victim to the little copycat.  But it is usually simple, silly little things like how the girls are playing with something or a dance move.  However, she got me really good tonight!  When she is doing something she should not be I animatedly shake my head 'no' and and tell her "no" several times.  Sometimes I shake my pointer finger at her too.  She was looking at me when she started pointing her finger, looked at it, then started waving it around a little bit.  I better watch it with my "no's" or when she really starts talking she is going to start saying "NO" right back at me!   On a positive note, when she is doing something great I also very animatedly nod my head 'yes' and smile.  Just so ya'll didn't go around thinking I was a mean Mama all the  time.   :-)  

I just nuked our online gallery accidentally. It's gonna take a while to get it back up online. We haven't lost any photos at all but we won't have access to them for a few days. I have to completely wipe the current installation and do a new one.

She ate a baby octopus with her daddy.  She took the smallest one, BJ said to put the whole thing in her mouth, she did, and chewed it right up!  Phoebe is braver than I am. P "I like Easter more than Bonkers (Going Bonkers Play Center) and Halloween." Me "What?! That is a pretty bold statement coming from you Phoebe. Why?" P "Because the Easter Bunny hides tiny candy in eggs." She gets tons of candy during Halloween but I suppose having to LOOK for it and getting it in eggs adds to the excitement of it all. After a moment of frustration with Daphne.... "I want her back in your tummy!  She's bugging me!" "Mommy, does Daphne love you more than she loves Daddy right now?"  I think Phoebe has been making some very astute observations around this house as of late.  Daphne is by far a Mama's girl.
