Our Persisting Memories

Conversation I had with Sophia today while I was making her sweep up some paper trash she had gotten all over the kitchen floor....   S: I'm like a mom.  This is like being a mom. But with no kids.  I want to be a mom but with no kids.  (all I can do is sit back and listen as this progresses) I would play with Barbies.  And buy video games and toys.  I'd be a young and cool mom. H:  Sophia, do you know what that is called?  Doing chores but with no kids and getting to spend money on fun stuff? S:  No, what? H: Being young and single. S:  Haha! Out of the mouths of babes.....  

Sophia was putting some coins in her piggy bank.  This is the conversation we had...... S:  This is great.  We almost have enough money to buy a lot of stuff! H:  Yeah, like a college education. S:  No, I need to buy stuff for my new house. I walk quickly out of the room so I can rat her out to her dad and get my giggles out.  Good thing we are in control of her bank account.
