Growing up is hard to do (for their mother)
We have been discussing the topic of Sophia having her own room for several months now. We needed to wait until Daphne was sleeping in a "big girl bed" which she has done beautifully for a few weeks now. So I began the process today of moving some of the girl's stuff around. I figured it would take a little bit of work each day for 3-4 days and then we would have everything in place. We began with the closets today and something happened to me that I didn't expect......I broke down crying. I was moving her backpack and sleeping bag from where they have made their home for years in her closet. That is where they belong--no other room! The back bedroom started out as HER nursery and has predominantly been HER room, with Phoebe joining her in there only a few years ago. But then I got used to her and Phoebe's things being together.
