First Day of School--2013
I had some quiet time with each girl the night before the first day of school. Sophia was concerned about not having friends and people laughing at her. She was actually in tears over it! I don't know where these concerns even came from considering she has lots of friends and no one has laughed at her out of cruelty, but we had a nice mommy-daughter talk, said a prayer, and she calmed down. Phoebe was worried about no one liking her as well. Seriously, what is up with these kids?! We also had a nice talk and fears were calmed. Sophia has Mrs. Rogers who was Phoebe's Kinder teacher last year. We love her and are so thankful to get to have her again! Sophia enjoyed her first day and can't wait to go back. Phoebe said her class was "so easy" and that she "only had to do 2 things." Little does she know it will only get more difficult from here! I am glad she has a good first impression of it though. Her dear friend, Lola, is in the class as well ...
