Saturday: Smoked some ribs, including some beef ribs. Beef ribs actually seem pretty simple. I just did the same thing I do with pork ribs with a slightly different rub and without the final hour on the open rack in the smoker. Sunday: Community pool party, which was an absolute blast. There nothing quite like splashing in a pool with your family. I came up with a fun anecdote that I'm pretty proud of. While looking at someone's 2nd story home addition Phoebe remarked, "I'm jealous!". The home in question had a fully outfitted game room with darts, pool table, bar, projector, etc... My response to Phoebe was, "You don't have to be jealous, you just have to be friends." Sunday night the older 2 went to have a sleepover at the Hansen house (a friend of the older 2 lives just over the back fence.). Monday: We had a streak grilling party with family.
