Sophia's Blessing

I had specific thoughts regarding Sophia's blessing and prodding from Spencer, Heather, and Adrian.  The first thought was a reflection of Sophia's name, from the greek sophos meaning wisdom.  She was blessed with intelligence and a thirst for knowledge.  She was blessed to learn and know of spiritual things and also the things in the world around her, so she might come to know the architecture of existence and thus come to know it's architect, and blessed to be able to apply that knowledge as wisdom.  Sophia was surrounded with 3 generations of Melchezidek priesthood holders, atsnding in a circle and blessing you.  Their souls would ache for her return to the celestial kingdom.  She was blessed to know that she was loved and thereby come to know the love of the Saviour.  She was blessed with empathy and compassion, so regardless of the bounty and blessings in her own life she might understand the difficulties and trials of others, and learn to feel the love the Saviour has for  her fellow brethren.  She was blessed to find the words and echos of God in the scriptures.  Blessed to be sealed to a worthy Man in the temple for all eternity helping to complete the chain back to father Adam.

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
