Wow, that was fun. If by fun you mean a pain in the neck, then yeah. Much to the detriment of Grandparents and old people everywhere, I've decided people should surf the interweb at 1024 x 768, at a minimum. As such, my website is now bigger and awesomer. Let me know whether you like it the new way or the old way. Not that I really think what you say is going to change the site, but I like to read people telling me I'm awesome.

    It only works in Internet Explorer and Firefox, It doesn't seem to work in netscape or Opera.

    Plus there's a weird error in Dad's IE at work where my site locks up his machine.

    It probably has to do with the transparency fix for IE but ... nevermind. heh

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
