Why you should vote for Ron Paul, ADD edition

Here's a list of quick quotes form the the best Presidential candidate for 2008. These were taken from here (lewrockwell.com) "We can’t tax, borrow, and inflate forever. That’s what we’ve been doing, and our obligations are overwhelming." "Whether it’s a war on drugs, a war on illiteracy, or a war on whatever, people say ‘well, it’s a war; we have to be willing to sacrifice our liberties and let the government take care of us’…we would be safer and we would be more economically secure if we assumed responsibility for ourselves." "It's hypocritical and childish to dismiss certain founding principles simply because a convenient rationale is needed to justify interventionist policies today. The principles enshrined in the Constitution do not change." "[Courts] routinely rubber stamp egregious violations of the 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendments, and allow Congress to legislate wildly outside the bounds of its enumerated powers." "Most of our...

My Xbox Live gamertag is Yoritomo79

I bought an Xbox 360 on Monday. Add me to your friends. I would like to blow you up playing Worms HD. If you're wondering if I'm referring to anyone in particular, I would have to answer that I am not. I am referring to whoever happens to be reading this and has an Xbox 360. I don't have any game other than Xbox live arcade titles, but I'll eventually be into your PGR3s, Gears of Wars, Crackdowns, Forza 2s, and other forthcoming games. "So why did you buy an Xbox 360?" you might ask. My answer is Virtua Fighter 5 lost PS3 exclusivity.

My man done good!

I am a girly girl and so silly holidays like Valentines Day do mean something for me. Not much; I need at the very least a card and some little extra recognition that BJ loves me. On my part I had saved Christmas money to take he and I to Fogo de Chao, an expensive restaurant that BJ and I have not been to since our first year of marriage. I made reservations a month in advance and had it all planned out. I also got tickets for us to go to the Dallas Auto Show, another thing he and I had not been to in years. Plus, he loves cars and that sort of thing so I knew he would enjoy himself very much. I had given him a card on Valentines Day (and Sophia too!) but received not a thing from my husband! I figured he got lazy and then before he knew it the day was come and gone and therefore too late to at least get a card. He kept teasing me "Maybe I haven't gotten it yet, maybe it hasn't come in yet, maybe you'll be getting it this weekend" and so on and so on. Ti...

Ron Paul has formally announced his candidacy

Read more info from smallgovtimes.com . This is sort of a brash thing to say but there are only two choices in the upcoming election, Ron Paul or anyone else. There is a deluded consistent notion that there is Republican opposition to a burgeoning Democratic push to take the White House. The sad fact is that there is little to no difference between any of the Republicrats seeking office. Ron Paul is the only Republican or Democrat that is opposed to gun control. Giuliani is pro-choice, pro-gun control, and hopes to solve our immigration issues by expanding immigration. McCain is pro-life, pro-gun control, and hopes to solve our immigration issues by expanding immigration. Romney was side by side with Giuliani on his "moral" issues up until about a year ago when he decided he wanted to woo conservatives, and has since changed his mind about abortion and immigration. Note that all three are pro-gun control. It might be a sad fact, but many people vote on these issues alo...

It's probably a Girl

The bun in the oven, due August 2nd, will come out a girl according to the sonographer. Heather already wrote this in her post but that fact might have been lost amongst all the exclamation points, so I thought it necessary to repost it here.

My plans are working...

Our little family had the sonogram today. BJ, Sue, Jeff, Michael, Catey, and my mother all said it would be a boy. THEY WERE WRONG!!! I had been hoping and praying and only referencing the baby as a girl. My dream came true and my plans are working. Since this was an unexpected pregnancy, and following so closely after Sophia, we NEEDED a girl. We won't have to buy anything, and I won't have to clean out and paint another room. So, I had been planning things around it being a girl. Thank goodness it is all working out! I was so stressed over this. Now all BJ and I have to do is pick a name, and unfortunately we cannot agree on a single thing. Strangely enough, we did have a boy's name chosen, but I won't reveal that. The sonograms turned out so wonderful and she looks perfect, just like Sophia did. I almost feel like I am having twins, just 15 months apart. I guess we will have to wait and see how much they will look alike.....if at all!

New file archive

I've moved the new protected file archive to http://upload.naasen.org/protected . music.naasen.org is gone and is slowly being replaced by it's partner section in the protected archive. Generic login is the same, e-mail me for details of access. Also http://upload.naasen.org has a version of CeleronDude's upload script on it. Feel free to use it for hosting images and smaller files. I have to manually approve users so if I'm being slow just send me an e-mail.
