Ron Paul has formally announced his candidacy

This is sort of a brash thing to say but there are only two choices in the upcoming election, Ron Paul or anyone else. There is a deluded consistent notion that there is Republican opposition to a burgeoning Democratic push to take the White House. The sad fact is that there is little to no difference between any of the Republicrats seeking office. Ron Paul is the only Republican or Democrat that is opposed to gun control. Giuliani is pro-choice, pro-gun control, and hopes to solve our immigration issues by expanding immigration. McCain is pro-life, pro-gun control, and hopes to solve our immigration issues by expanding immigration. Romney was side by side with Giuliani on his "moral" issues up until about a year ago when he decided he wanted to woo conservatives, and has since changed his mind about abortion and immigration. Note that all three are pro-gun control.
It might be a sad fact, but many people vote on these issues alone. If you're one of them, and are a classic moral conservative know that Ron Paul is currently the only candidate who is anti-gun control, pro-life, and is pushing for immigration reform. I do need to add that he sees abortion as a State's Rights issue and would be unlikely to push for a Federal ban, or any legislation that would exert more control from the Federal Government.
Ron Paul is a non-interventionist. He is against the Patriot act and has been from the beginning. He has voted no to every bill that has sought to expand the control of the Federal Government. There was a time when Republicans were the small government party. With corporate subsidies, no-bid contracts, and increased protectionism towards big business, this is no longer the case. Please help Ron Paul reign in the Federal government. Vote for him in the primaries. I will be doing everything I can to help him get in the White House.
