Make your own indie album cover

This one is circulating forums and blogs, but hasn't hit anything like Digg yet, so some people might not have seen it yet. It's a fun exercise though. Here are the steps to making your own indie album cover.

Step 1: Band Name - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random

The first article title on the page is the name of your band.

Step 2: Album Name http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3

The last 4 words of the very last quote is the name of your album.

Step 3: Album Cover Art - http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/

The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

Step 4: Track List http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Randomredirect

The first 11 or so articles you land on will be your tracklist.

    Michael and I did this until we got a good black metal album cover. It was hilarious. We used a little leeway for the cover art.

    The most topical name we got was "Cross Sound Ferry". We went with Kootu for the band name.

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
