I am not a unique snowflake

Have you ever googled your name? Thankfully, almost the entire first page of googling BJ Atchley actually refers to me.

Dig a little deeper and I find BJ Atchley of Connecticut who plays the Alto Saxophone. Too bad I haven't picked mine up in 5 years or so.

So my apologies go out to BJ Atchley of CT from whom I will likely steal the first page of google for some time to come.

    I am, as usual, a combination between a now dead Polymath and an English Stand up comic. I have thought about writing a wikipedia entry about me to rise toward the top, but I don't know I want google finding me. Good job rising above Microsoft word's spellchecker suggestion

    I am topped by the commercial aspirations of a British woodwind manufacturer, an American baseball player, and an Australian photographer (all men). I wish them the greatest success. I don't think I actually show up anywhere!

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
