A fun little activity

A friend of mine from church did this on her blog and I found it very interesting and fun. She had 2 steps to it but I think I will keep it to the first step. So here goes:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

I know plenty of you out there who read this website but never leave comments! So now is your chance, but keep it relatively clean and friendly ya'll!

    Playing that truth or lies morality game on the floor of your living room- watching our girls jumping together on Sophia's trampoline- and along time ago- going to bed in disgust while our husbands stayed up all night playing video games in the pre-kid era!!!

    Probably would have to be practicing vital signs, washing hands, making beds, bed baths, and you being so stressed out of your mind I have never heard so many cuss words in my life. And then waking up at the butt crack of dawn to go to the hospital with teachers that we hated that would stress us out so bad that you would get sick. Man those were good times lol

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. The first link also contains the files you'd need to get it running. I'll also rehost them here. Here's a tutorial taken from here. Download the packages here. simplesim-3v0d.tgz simpleutils-990811.tar.gz simpletools-2v0.tgz gcc-2.7.2.3.ss.tar.gz Untar the source code into a simplesim directory mkdir simplesim (wherever you want to put this...you can name it whatever) tar xzvf (the z flag unzips a gzip file as well as untars it.... if you have straight tar files then use tar xvf ) In simpetools-2v0.tgz, there is a gcc-2.6.3 compiler. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
