Buggin' out!

As I have mentioned in previous posts, Sophia gets super attached to things. One week it is a beany baby, the next her Lightning McQueen stuffed car, and so on. Ever since visiting her Nana earlier this week it has been "bug". All it is is a black head band with black and orange pipe cleaners twirled together with black fuzzballs on the end, but she LOVES it. She wears it all day and they have been to the grocery store, Granny's house for work, and to bed. She sleeps with it on her head and I have peeked in on her sometimes to find it across her face while she is sound asleep. Luckily, I convinced her to leave it home today so we could go to church "bug" free. So far since being home from church she hasn't asked for it, but I have a feeling "BUG!" will return!

    That is great! I love the funny things she gets attached to. I guess it may not be quite as fun to you guys, but its adorable!

    Oh cute!! At least if her affections switch pretty often you don't have to worry about losing her precious!

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
