Meow Meow Lick?

Sophia likes pretending to be a cat. Normally this just involves prefacing everything she says with "meow" and terminating phrases with the same "meow". Oh yeah, she licks things too. Random things. Everything. It really depends on her mood.

As I was putting her to bed tonight she was again pretending to be a cat. "Meow, Meow kiss?" I kissed my daughter. As I was walking out she says, "Meow, Meow lick?" I could imagine what she was going to do, but being curious, I walked up to her. At which point she stuck her tongue out and tried to lick my face. I avoided the cat lick with lightning reflexes and laughed, then gave her a hug and a big kiss.

Watch out.

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
