The "I don't know" stage of life

BJ and I watched an old Bill Cosby sketch a few weeks ago. It seemed like half of his skit was about being married, having kids, and how life is like being a husband and father. It was hilarious though! I mean, laughing so hard there were tears in my eyes hilarious! Part of why I found it so funny was because it was also so true. The longer I am a parent I am sure I will find even more of his 'jokes' to be fact. One of the things he mentioned was that his kids would say "I don't know" about almost everything. "Son, why did you cut your hair?" "I don't know....." Bill said he figured it out too---children, all children, have brain damage. It sure can seem that way sometimes. How suiting that I saw that skit only less than a month ago, because this is how it has been at our house the last few weeks. Bill Cosby KNOWS what he is talking about!

"Sophia, why are you crying?"
"I don't know......" sniffle sniffle sob

"Why did you take your clothes off?"
"I don't know." runs off naked

"Sophia! Why did you hit Phoebe?"
"I don't know."

"Why don't you eat that? You like that food!"
"I don't know."

"Don't throw that! Why would you throw that?"
"I don't know."

And on and on. Keep preachin' Bill.

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
