Goodbye straight to market foodstuffs

Just a quick FYI

The Government is trying to do too much and screwing it up again. Hand crafted toys and now staight to market food. It's all in the name of safety, and if carried out perfectly would increase our food safety... but complete single actor control over the certification of any and all food facilities in the US probably isn't the best thing in the world for roadside peach dealers, custom salsa makers, direct delivered meats, fine cheese, wineries, direct food, and anything that isn't processed to the nth degree.

You might want to write your congressman to oppose this one BEFORE it gets passed.

    Good info. I just looked over it. The government now controls water heater install and now to what I eat. Do they want to make sure I dress correctly now too?

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
