Going bonkers

There's an indoor hamster habitrail for children in Lewsiville called going bonker. It's a wonderous place that is seemingly infinitely fun for children while smelling like feet. I'm not sure I can convey the enormity of the multi-tiered play area without pictures.

Cousins joined us a couple of weeks ago while they were in town. I joined the family during lunch to partake of the odors of childhood ecstacy... which as I had mentioned previously smell like feet. Yes, I did crawl around in there. Sophia got stuck once and began to cry so I had to fly through the winding snarl of padded plastic like a bumbling overweight gorilla. Thankfully there are no pictures of this incident.

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
