Broken

This has not been a good week for things around our house. A lot of things have been broken for some reason, within a matter of days! The week isn't even over yet either! Here is the list so far:

toilet handle in guest bathroom
my precious Neti Pot
child lock on TV entertainment center
both outlets in master bathroom
on/off switch to carpet vacuum

I am nervous for my house! Hope nothing else breaks....at least my sense of humor hasn't!

    I hope things are still intact!! Max got into the sugar today but he didn't break anything to do it. He has figured out how to open our sliding door to the back (slides chair over, unlocks it, moves chair, opens door) and got out a couple weeks ago when Spencer thought that he was asleep. But at least he didn't have to break anything to do it. One of our neighbors saw him and brought him home.

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
