Pockets

Phoebe has discovered the power of pants and shorts with pockets. She enjoys walking around with her hands in her pockets, looking very cute as she is doing it, or stuffing what she can into them. Phoebe will tend to get confused if she is in pajama pants or other bottoms that have no pockets. She circles herself and pats her legs looking for them saying "pocket?! pockets?!" Just yesterday she was walking around in only a diaper. She took some little magnet animals she had and stuffed them down the front of her diaper. She proudly looks up at her daddy with her big gap toothed grin and says "POCKET!"

At least she didn't have a poopy diaper at the time.

    Wow, sounds a lot like me when I was little. I was obsessed with pockets. I would get angry at my mom if she put me in pants without pockets. Maybe it is genetic. =) Phoebe is cute.

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
