Phoebe Update

I wanted to post an updated photo of Phoebe so you can all see she is happily recovering from her 'incident' the other day.

We are keeping it clean, dry, and treated with antibiotic ointment. We continue to be very cautious with what she gets to do and how rough her and her sister play together. She reminds me to "be gentle" with her head. She also mentions every once in awhile how "Sissy pushed me into the bed". Sophia sure won't live this one down! And I know this will haunt me for some time. I still get so sick to my stomach and want to cry when I think about that day and what happened. But all I do is look at Phoebe and see that she is okay and happy, and that makes me feel much better.

    This absolutely melts my heart! Poor baby! I am glad she is being careful and has a wonderful Mommy and Daddy to help take good care of her and her boo-boo! Give her hugs from me! ;)

    Make sure you don't put that antibiotic ointment on for more than a few days, you don't want her wound to become macerated. :) It sounds like you had a pretty good reason for not coming to my house...I guess. Hope you guys can come soon!

    Phoebe is so beautiful! Esp in blue, it brings out her eyes. I'm glad that everything is turning out alright with no serious consequences.

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
