Not just one pregnancy this time--but two!

Before anyone jumps to conclusions about the title.....NO, I am NOT having twins. Phoebe started several days ago saying that she is pregnant and has a baby in her belly. One time when she was sad and crying she told me her baby was sad. She will lift up her shirt and pat or rub her belly. Today was the first time she got to go with me to my OB/GYN. She kept asking if I was going to lay down on the bed they have. I told her I would if the doctor needed me to. Once we were in the room Phoebe wanted to sit on the table/bed with me. I got off and let her lay down. I got this cute idea in my head so I said, "Hey Phoebe! Can you lift up your shirt so I can look at your belly? And look at your baby?" I totally thought this would be cute and fun, right?! You wanna know what this 3 year old told me? "No, cuz your'e not a doctor." Wow, how could I argue with the truth?! So I told her she was correct and that was fine. I don't give this kid enough credit.

    Awww thats too cute! That is one heck of a scar she seems to have on her head from that fall huh?

    Yeah, no joke. I hate seeing the scar. It is still so red. It doesn't help that her skin is so fair either. :(

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
