No catch up

Trying to catch up with all the things we've missed would be pointless but there are a few things that I want to update. Sophia got glasses (I'll post pictures soon). Phoebe leveled up to level 4 in Gymnastics (The Perot Museum slow motion camera comparison with an Olympic level gymnast has Phoebe really working on her form and it shows). Daphne is wonderful and hilarious, I have never seen a child completely wrap so many people around her finger. Heather is planning on reentering college in the Spring. We celebrated our 12 year anniversary this past June. We're done having children (I got the snip, ask me about it and I regale you with stories of an awkward forced conversation on the Federal Reserve with a Conservative Dallas urologist). There are some other big changes to our family but they will be talked about in Private posts and are meant for posterity and our family alone. I've spent too much time talking to strangers anonymously and wasting time on facebook.

Time

5 Days ago I finished the last class I needed to complete my BS in Computer Science from the University of North Texas. I admit it seems small compared to some of the achievements of friends and family but I still feel proud I was able to hold on for dear life for so long. A decade of evening classes and late night coding dozens of different class projects and homework assignment in arbitrary languages has taken a little bit of a toll. Sophia and Phoebe hate college. Over the years I told them that I didn't have any time to play because I was doing homework. My family, this blog, our photographic memories, and even more forgotten things have fallen by the wayside on the journey. There was not a single moment that I wasn't also employed full time trying to provide for my family throughout my college experience.
