Baby Sandwiches

We've built up some funny phrases in the Atchley household. A lot of these funny phrases happen because we're trying to encourage the girls to do something they might not want to do. When a sandwich is cut into 4 pieces we declare that the sandwich has been turned into baby sandwiches. Daphne loves baby sandwiches. When baby sandwiches are created Daphne will let out a small and very cute "awwwww!", and proceed to devour them.

This happened today:

Daphne: I would like a sandwich please.
Dad: Would you like a ham and salami sandwich?
Daphne: Oh yes please, those are the best meats, yup. (Daphne says yup quite often)
Dad: Would you like them cut into baby sandwiches.
Daphne: Yup, mmhmmm.
Dad: Do you want triangles or squares.
Daphne: Triangles taste better.
(sandwiches are made and plated)
Daphne: This looks like sandwich pizza, yup.
Daphne: You make the best sandwiches with the best meats.
Dad: Thank You.
Daphne: These babies taste really good.
Dad: *snickers*

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Here's a good guide to installing simplescalar . I'll mirror some of the information from another guide that worked for me as well. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
