Daphne still a little under the weather

She seemed to get a little bit more sleep last night and was kept company by our cat, Penny.

We had her sleeping on the living room couch so her coughing wouldn't disturb her sisters and we would be able to hear her if she had a coughing fit in the middle of the night.

Daphne seems to be on the mend. At 5:00 AM I went out to check on her and found her sitting up in bed with her eyes open. I whispered, "Are you okay?" She replied with a quiet , "shhhhhhh". Penny was nestled in right next to Daphne. Daphne didn't want to disturb the cat. She beamed at me with a wide grin. I kissed her and went back to bed. When Sophia and Phoebe woke up to get ready for school I carried my little soon to be 4-year-old to her room, where she is still sleeping peacefully at this very moment. I haven't heard a cough from her all morning. Hopefully, she's on the mend.

Running simplescalar on Ubuntu in alpha config

I have to post this for future reference as there were so many pain points just getting simplescalar running that I needed to mirror some links and consolidate some tutorials. Phoebe loves shoes

OMG Shoes. Phoebe loves them. At any given moment Phoebe is either swapping shoes, trying on shoes, or digging through someone's closet for new shoes. Our recent trip to Bryan, TX to visit family, brought us to a children's play museum. There was a small selection of dress up items which of course included shoes. Phoebe immediately began prancing around in her new shoes. 59585|400 Heather wanted some pictures of Phoebe in her cousins boy clothes as well. I Don't Mind

I don't mind the rapid spreading contagion of nerdity (I made the word nerdity up, which I think makes me a nerd. A fact that was never in doubt). My only lament is her hesitance to adopt my music. Seriously, I listen to some awesome music. Every week I find new bands, new sounds, and every once in a while I find gold. The only problem is that I've trained myself to like the weirdest stuff I can find. For example: [audio:01-unexpect-chromatic_chimera.mp3] The band is called uneXpect. They're probably considered metal but they have a certain jazz/circus music/opera influence. They're similar to Sleepytime Guerilla Museum but much heavier.
