Is she crazy?!
So here's the thing--I love candy. I have always loved candy, particularly fruity candy. Heck, one year for Valentine's Day BJ shows up with tons of candy--and my favorite stuff too--and I was so happy and loved him. I have to say, if given the choice I will decline one of women's best friends, chocolate, and go for the fruity stuff like Starburst or Sour Straws. This same sister has even teased me (very seriously though) that I will make myself diabetic form all the candy I eat. I must admit though, in my quest to lose some weight, any weight, I have cut back quite a bit on my passion.
My mom has told me of my first 'real' Halloween and this is how it went:
I was almost 2 1/2 years old and she took us out to Trick or Treat. She says when I realized what trick or treating was about I starting RUNNING from house to house. I ended up eating so much candy that same night that I proceeded to vomit multiple times the rest of the evening....at the Italian Restaurant she took us girls to, the car.......Now you would think I would learn my lesson, but like a drunk who binges, barfs and gets that nasty hangover, I will eat candy until barfing or feeling sick and wouldn't mind eating it the very next day. In fact, I have eaten so many sour belts in one night that my tongue and lips were in pain and my mouth bled when I brushed my teeth. Now THAT is commitment----commitment to the cause of CANDY!!!!!!
So don't anyone ever ask me if I am still eating candy. That is a stupid question that makes no sense to ask me. I will be eating candy until the day I die!
LOL I love it, you do what makes u happy! And besides, sour belts are amazing. I once ate so many war heads that it literally ate a hole in my tongue!
